Letter to Joe Thompson, the Mass MoCA director

Dear Joe Thompson,

Under the avant-gardist theme “The Believers”, the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art has offered its largest space to a little group of famous artists. One of them is the great Dutch kinetic sculptor Theo Jansen. Recently , we awarded him by our cultural prize Bouzghiba Awards 2007. In Mass MoCA exhibition Theo Jansen presented one of his ingenious Strandbeest. I am so happy that you appreciated the quality of the person and his fantastic work. I ‘am so fascinated by his dynamism and humility.

I am preparing an artistic book on the three winners of Bouzghiba Awards. Theo Jansen is the latest winner after the team of French TV programme “C’est pas Sorcier” and Patricia Piccinini. I want to have some information’s about the great event (other articles of press...) that you have organised .Please I need your eventually help.
