Letter to the newspaper Volkskrant where Theo Jansen published his articles

Rabat , MOROCCO , January 14th 2008

Dear Director of the Newspaper Volkskrant,

Since 1986 Theo Jansen has been writing a column for your prestigious newspaper. This great artiste has won our annual and cultural prize called Bouzghiba Awards . We want to send the trophy (painting picture) to him but we meet with more difficulties to have the safety contact with the lucky winner. We have written to the embassy of Kingdome of Nederland in Paris and Rabat . We received their feedback by e-mail. An respectable Employee of the embassy in Rabat ( the town where I live ) has phoned to me last week . She said that she couldn’t distinguish the person awarded because there always exists a lot of persons who have the same name Theo Jansen . She promised me that she will make efforts in the next week to try to resolve this little problem of identification. Sincerely, I think that Theo Jansen the art kinetic sculptor is so famous in the world by his distinguible personal style. I need your help to communicate to the embassy in Morocco the address of THEO JANSEN. The press-medias (national and international ) which have covered the Bouzghiba-Awards in the two last editions are expecting and waiting for the final result.
